When Hot Is Cool!

I was given my first Zojirushi Air Pot as a gift about 20 years ago. In all that time, I used it just about every single day. We took it on cross-country trips and on vacations. Despite sometime rugged use, it never gave us a lick of trouble.A few months ago, it developed a problem--a hole formed in the pump mechanism of the insert piece. The rest of the unit was fine, but as there were no replacement parts available any more, we had to buy a new one.I replaced the original pot with a 74 oz. Zojirushi Silver Air Pot Beverage Dispenser. This one is living up to its family reputation. I heat up water first thing in the morning and fill the pot. Then all day, the water is ready when I'm looking for a nice hot cup of tea.Now, if this one lasts another 20 years, as I suspect it might, I'll replace it with Zojirushi Air Pot #3.
