Flip lid breaks off all the time

I have two gentle young girls and a three year old son who loves these funtainer products to keep water cold at school all day. They love the different colors and characters that they come in.My only complaint is that the flip lids will break off easy, even after one roll of a Table. We probably have a dozen of these funtainers but all have cracked hinges and missing lids. I think this is a design flaw. As an engineer myself, I would have a lid with a metal hinge pin that would survive at least a 30 inch drop off of a table.So now what do I do with 12 funtainer bottles with no flip lids? The straw and cover still work, but now the bottle can leak with with no lid. Does thermos have replacement lids? If not, I will have to look for different brand of water bottle.If it was not for the lid problem, I would give these bottles 5 stars.

Great value...Hannah Montana can easily disappear!

We love the funtainer bottles by Thermos. They are the ONLY bottles we've purchased that will last all year (and going) without any leaking problems. They are easy to keep clean and we have yet to have any issues with the inside smelling or being discolored like plastic bottles. It's a huge plus that they keep the beverage cold too, we send milk to school instead of purchasing cartons at school.As far as Hannah Montana adorning the outside (not my first choice, but the low price for a high quality bottle can't be beat), as stated in another review it is really easy to remove the image with fine grit sandpaper. There isn't residual image left over and it doesn't scratch the stainless steal (we sanded along the grain of the bottle). I would recommend these. Amazing value!
