i thought this item would be much nicer than it is. it still works. ice tongs fit entirely in the lid sideways. lid and handle are both bright chrome. "made in japan" or china logo printed on the side irremovable... not attractive.keeps ice cold though

It's a great size, great quality and keeps the ice cold for at least a few hours. Good for entertaining. Would recommend it.

Nice Design, Cheap Materials--Booo

Bought this because I like the cute and compact design of this ice bucket--small footprint on the counter and the handy tongs store in the top, which is great for us disorganized social bartenders--but I thought at least part of the bucket or top would be made of metal. Alas, the whole thing is made of lightweight plastic, which means it probably won't last very long. And at this price point? Bit of a rip-off.I'd heard such nice things about the Zojirushi brand but gotta say: this really underwhelmed me. Pass on it unless you really don't care about bang for your buck and you want to replace this item after a couple parties.
