Great Grill

Ordered from Amazon in Jan of 2013, I use it a lot so its showing some wear but nothing I would consider excessive or unusual. The non-stick coating is intact on the cooking surface but worn where the smaller pan rests on the larger, which is on the upper edge of the pan.This grill cooks almost everything, hamburgers, soup, tortillas, macaroni, pancakes, okonomiyaki, bacon and much more.It takes awhile to heat up especially if using higher temps. but it goes all the way to 480° which will cook an inch thick rib-eye to medium rare with 2 minutes on each side.

Works well but I had a problem

I'm using this for my truck as I'm an OTR trucker. I can cook anything and everything with this as its multi purpose but I'm a bit disappointed with the construction. It's a solid build but already the Teflon on the edge of one of the skillets has worn to the bare metal. I thought they had managed to make Teflon pretty permanent by using a kind of galvanizing technique. In the older days of Teflon, it never lasted all that long but nowadays they seem to have make it more durable. Unfortunately this isn't the case with this unit. So caveat emptor. I plan to send a letter directly to the manufacturer.
