Handy little thermal carafe

It works as advertised, but it doesn't hold a full pot of coffee, only about three to four mugs full. If you use those tiny little coffee cups, of course that capacity goes farther. But if I make a full pot of coffee on our 12-cup coffeemaker, then take one mug for myself, there's still one mug's worth left in the pot after I fill the thermos.As for maintaining heat, it is good, but no better than a handy little keep-hot pot I purchased several years ago at Crate & Barrel. Which is to say, over the next several hours, the coffee remains hot enough, if not blistering hot. After that, if hot is what you want, there's always the microwave.
