Perfect Little Ice Bucket

On a recent cruise, my stateroom had one of these little ice buckets. It was wonderful! The size is small, so this isn't a party ice bucket. But it's perfect for a small space, a master suite, or an intimate dinner. The design is very classy, and the tongs are stored in the lid, making them hard to lose and easy to use. Your ice stays really nicely, and I never once saw any condensation on the outside in four days. Because of the size, you'd probably only want to use small ice cubes, so consider that before you buy. Otherwise, it's perfect. It would be a good gift for a couple -- or for yourself!

Ice melts quickly

Someone who's never had a better ice bucket may like this, but compared to my other foam type bucket, the ice lasts about half as long, I don't know why. It may be the hard plastic lid on the hard plastic base that doesnt provide enough of a seal, or could just be the inefficiency of a hollow plastic surround without insulation inside.

Handle Comes Loose

Reasonable holding capacity for an inexpensive bucket. Ice stays solid for a reasonable amount of time. But, and this is a big butt. How many times have I played 52 pick-up because the handle came loose when someone attempted to pick-up the ice bucket by the handle! TNTC
