Quite frankly, there is very little I have against this tea travel mug. It performs amazingly well at what it's designed to do, which is holding tea without any leaks and keeping it hot for hours. I never could have imagined just how hot it can keep tea. In fact, I brought it with me on a skiing trip. Hours after making the tea (around four) and keeping the mug outside in the freezing cold, I took a large sip thinking it would have cooled considerably as the exterior of the mug was very, very cold and seriously burned my mouth. I'm sure there's probably a warning on the documentation to take care, but everything is in Japanese. I did glance at the pictures, though, and wish I had paid more attention.The seal on this mug is amazing. Nothing leaks out of it, well, unless you overfill it and try to shove the cap on with the lid being closed. Then, you'll get liquid in the threads of the lid where it screws on and a few drops will slowly seep out. Nothing from inside, though. If the lid is closed, it is so airtight that I cannot put the lid on completely as the air cannot escape. What I really like and you can see in the photo is that there is a little lock next to the button to open the lid. If you lock it, it will prevent it from being knocked open if you throw it in a bookbag where it's likely to get bumped around.The lid swings back when open and stays open, so you can sip from it without having the lid flop back onto your nose. There's a scooped out, rounded lip that you drink from. It's nice because you can get a small amount of liquid on it before you drink and gently check the temperature before burning your mouth on near boiling tea. (Live and learn.)The only thing that I do not like is that it's not supposed to be placed in the dishwasher. I, however, do it anyway and have discovered why that recommendation exists. Mine has now been washed about thirty times or so and the paint on the canister is coming off. It is silver underneath, so I'm certain that one day I'll have a silver mug with a white and yellowish-green top. As I don't have the tools (you need a bottle brush to reach inside) or the time (two small kids who would probably use that bottle brush to groom the cat) to wash anything by hand, I will continue to wash it as I have: in the dishwasher.

These mugs are awesome. Keep liquid hot all day! Don't leak! They was a gift and was exactly what I expected and it arrived in excellent condition and was received on time! Met expectation.

I use this Mug all the time to carry hot water. My stomach is not very well, so I like to drink warm water all the time. I found this mug gives pretty much what I need, easy to open and fill more water in, keep water hot for the whole day as long as you don't leave it open. No leak with its special design,nice white color, very suitable for women. I would like to recommend this highly.
